Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all process engineering activities for offshore projects during FEED, Detailed Engineering, and EPC/EPCI phases.
  • Act as the discipline lead and main technical interface for process engineering with clients, licensors, project management, vendors, and other engineering disciplines.
  • Supervise and coordinate a team of process engineers and designers, including work planning, technical guidance, and review/approval of deliverables.
  • Develop, review, and approve key process engineering deliverables, including:
    • Process Design Basis and Philosophy
    • PFDs and P&IDs
    • Heat & Material Balance, Process Calculations, and Datasheets
    • Equipment sizing for static and rotating equipment
    • Line sizing, PSV calculations, relief and flare system design
    • Control philosophies and safeguarding systems
  • Ensure designs comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards and codes (API, ASME, ISO).
  • Identify and address process safety aspects, including participation in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and other risk assessment studies.
  • Interface closely with mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, safety, and commissioning teams to support integrated project execution.
  • Support technical bid evaluations, vendor document reviews, and technical clarifications.
  • Provide process engineering support during construction, commissioning, and offshore hook?up as required.
  • Monitor engineering progress, highlight technical risks, and propose solutions to meet project schedule and quality objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10–12 years of experience in process engineering within the offshore oil & gas / marine / offshore facilities environment.
  • Strong experience in offshore facilities such as platforms, FPSOs, offshore processing modules, or gas processing systems.
  • Solid understanding of process design, hydrocarbons processing, utilities, and offshore operational constraints.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams on complex offshore projects.
