Lead Weight Control Engineer (FPSO)
Overview
Responsible for leading weight control activities for FPSO projects, ensuring accurate weight estimation, monitoring, and compliance with international and Brazilian standards throughout FEED and EPC phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead weight control engineering for FPSO FEED/EPC projects
- Develop, monitor, and manage weight estimates and weight control reports
- Ensure compliance with international and Brazilian codes and standards
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to track weight changes and impacts
- Review and validate weight data, calculations, and documentation
- Support project teams during design, procurement, and construction phases
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of FPSO/offshore project experience
- At least 7 years as Lead Weight Control Engineer in FPSO projects (FEED/EPC)
- Experience in Brazil / Petrobras FPSO projects
- Strong knowledge of weight control systems and offshore standards
