Airswift is seeking for Logistics Coordinator to work in Qatar with a major Oil & Gas Company.
Qualification:
- B.Sc. (or) Higher National Diploma and/or Diploma in relevant engineering discipline from a recognized University. Certification in Nautical Science (maritime), Marine Logistics, Onshore & Offshore and Port Operations will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Minimum of eight to ten (8 to 10) years’ experience in offshore capital projects logistics management and coordination.
- Excellent team building, coordination and team player capabilities.
- Ability to supervise multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce.
- Good IT and analytical skills, with ability to work well under pressure.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and execute onshore, offshore, and subsea logistics planning, control, and management related to logistics, marine inspection, mobilization, and installation activities for offshore projects.
- Act as a focal point for project interfaces between various working groups, internal departments, stakeholders, joint venture entities, and external organizations, and support leadership in executing assigned activities.
- Provide technical evaluation of marine vessels proposed by contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and intended scope.
- Coordinate with onshore installation contractors to ensure necessary inspections are completed and readiness is achieved for timely mobilization in line with the project execution plan.
- Support project leadership and teams by providing technical evaluation of proposed offshore marine support vessels during the bidding stage.
- Organize and manage project logistics back charges, coordinating with project management, cost, and contract teams to facilitate closure.
- Coordinate with marine, HSE, and technical authorities for initial approval and inspection of contractor-proposed marine spread to ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and regulations.
- Follow up with contractors on timely closure of inspection punch items and coordinate verification of close-out with relevant authorities.
- Organize final and follow-up inspections to ensure all identified punch items are satisfactorily closed prior to mobilization.
- Ensure project leadership and engineering teams are fully informed of execution-related issues and provide recommendations for resolution.
- Act as the main focal point for offshore execution-related communications, ensuring clear directives, responsibilities, and integration into offshore activities.
- Participate in the review of offshore logistics scope of work and provide input during FEED and bid evaluation stages.
- Coordinate offshore surveys and related activities, including marine requirements planning.
