As a Maintenance & Reliability Manager, you will drive plant reliability, champion proactive maintenance, and strengthen operational performance at one of the key U.S. manufacturing sites.
This is a pivotal position for an energized, ownership?driven leader who thrives in small, agile environments and wants to shape the future of a rapidly expanding industrial operation.
Role Overview
- Lead the development, implementation, and optimization of the plant’s Preventive and Predictive Maintenance programs.
- Conduct root cause and failure analyses to eliminate recurring issues and drive long?term equipment reliability.
- Oversee maintenance procedures, PM tasks, schedules, and reliability standards across the facility.
- Define and manage critical spare parts inventory while maintaining cost?effective stocking levels.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, EHS, and Quality to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient plant performance.
- Coordinate inspections, capital project support, and contractor activities.
- Provide hands?on technical guidance to maintenance technicians and supervisors.
- Build capability across the team through structured training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Uphold all company policies and enforce OSHA safety compliance within the maintenance organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Chemical plant background strongly preferred, ideally on chlor-alkali
- 5–15 years of strong maintenance and reliability experience
- Proven leadership experience managing technicians and/or supervisors
- Solid track record improving equipment reliability and reducing downtime
- Hands?on capability with maintenance planning, PM optimization, and failure analysis
- Experience with spare parts strategy, CMMS systems, and reliability methodologies
- Strong mechanical/electrical aptitude and comfort being physically present in plant areas
