Reporting to the Machine Cell Supervisor, the CNC Machinist is responsible for process development, tooling selections and CNC programming. The CNC Machinist proactively creates accurate and efficient CNC programs and documentation, while improving machining processes and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues.
Candidate to bring to the role:
??Minimum of 2 years of CNC programming experience using the following:
- Programming and control experience with Mazak and HAAS.
- CAM experience required (Fusion 360, Edge cam, and Creo.)
??Experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment requiring complex programming and familiarity with multi-axis CNC machines is preferred. ??Ability to read engineered drawings and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Strong understanding of cutting tools, inserts, and fixturing best practices. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work in a self-directed manner.
