Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in safety programs, toolbox meetings, and emergency response drills
- Ensure the safe operation of production processes, pipelines, utilities, and safety systems within assigned areas
- Exercise Stop-Work Authority when conditions are unsafe or outside approved safety protocols
- Conduct routine operator rounds and equipment surveillance to proactively identify issues
- Respond to process upsets and abnormal conditions
- Perform facility startup and shutdown activities (planned and unplanned)
- Follow all safety procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and environmental standards
- Maintain operational integrity by adhering to Safe Operating Limits, Management of Change (MOC), and Control of Work processes
- Complete required training and competency programs to operate assigned facilities or drill sites safely
- Prepare equipment for maintenance, including energy isolation procedures
- Support production targets through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
Basic Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- One or more of the following experience:
- Minimum 1 year as a Field Production Operator for wells and remote gathering systems, OR
- Minimum 1 year as a Field Production Operator in a processing facility
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of direct oilfield or petrochemical operations experience
- Associate degree (or higher) in Process Technology or a related technical discipline
- Intermediate knowledge of Production Operations and Process Safety Management (PSM)

This role operates in remote Arctic conditions, requiring adaptability, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a rotational camp-based setting.
