Airswift is seeking a Marine Superintendent to work on an outsourced contract (2 years), in Suriname, with a major Oil & Gas Company.

Planned start date: April

Duration: 2-years, rotational 5/5 (5 weeks on/5 weeks off), based on seven (7) worked days per week, with eight (8) hours of work per day

100% resident in Suriname

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Maritime Superintendent to support ongoing and future offshore operations in Suriname. The role will act as a focal point for all maritime-related activities, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient maritime operations.

Pre-contract inspections and issuance/monitoring of action plans for drilling platforms, PSVs and AHTSs

Planning, preparation and coordination of all maritime operations, including studies, ground tests, mooring operations, anchor handling, platform movement and related maritime documentation

Review and validation of maritime procedures, JRAs (Job Risk Analyses), crew certifications, studies and all relevant maritime contributions

 Continuous monitoring and communication with the COMPANY and its contractors to ensure timely, safe and compliant maritime support

Regular reporting on maritime operations during the preparation and execution phases

Application of the COMPANY's HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) standards and enhancement of the safety culture on board contracted vessels

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Nautical Studies and/or Marine Engineering             

English Fluent

DW and Shallow Rig move experience                  

Anchor handling in Shallow water                         

Accredited OVID inspector                                       

Experience of vessel inspection and audit           

ROV Operation experience                                       

Experience in shallow water operation   

Unlimited Master Mariner or Chief Engineer license
