Summary
Responsible for moving, handling, and organizing materials while ensuring accuracy, quality, and safety.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials within the work site
- Inspect materials for quality and defects
- Identify materials by part number or written description
- Move materials manually to and from pallets, shelves, and storage areas
- Transport materials to designated production or storage locations
- Count, weigh, and record materials handled on daily logs
- Assemble crates or packaging when required
- Label, tag, or mark materials and containers accurately
- Maintain a clean work area, equipment, and machines
- Follow all safety rules and procedures
Physical Requirements
- Stand for extended periods
- Repetitively lift up to 50 pounds
