One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Materials Management Advisor II to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Spring, TX.




Responsibilities:



Materials Management (MM) Process Establishment & Management:


 

  • Adhering to EM Supply Chain Company business process management standards, help build, map and document both as-is and to-be business processes in materials management (material and inventory planning, purchasing, delivery coordination and inbound logistics, warehouse operations, payment interfaces, inventory analytics and end of life material processes)
  • Work within the EM global MM COE and serve a critical role at the interface to the Polaris ERP transformation project; especially with regard to delivering process documentation that can be used to support change management, communications, training, hypercare and business stabilization.
  • Manage end-to-end business process integration, testing, health monitoring, and go-live readiness for Materials Management at the interface with Maintenance, Projects, Procurement, and Payables processes (and data).
  • Performance Monitoring: Use Business Process Management (BPM) tools and advanced data analytics to monitor business Process Health and KPIs and analyze and optimize processes to drive improvement opportunities
  • Project Support: Projects and Business Transformation by providing process subject matter expertise, define business requirement / benefits, participate / coordinate UAT’s, training and rollout plan, where applicable
  • Process Integration: Build and maintain cross-functional modal knowledge of interfaces between different platforms and tools for seamless integration
  • Competency Development: Manage and sustain MM process training, train Power Users and End Users during initial process and tools adoption to upskill MM workforce and drive value

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Participate in and organize various supply chain meetings to ensure alignment and collaboration within the network
  • Partner with Data & Analytics (DNA) team to plan for and sustain enterprise tools (both SAP and SAP-adjacent)

Requirements:

  • SAP Enterprise Warehouse Management (EWM) and/or Field Logistics system knowledge and or transformation project experience
  • ERP transformation/transition project experience within the Materials Management functional /business process space
  • Materials Management (and/or maintenance/procurement-adjacent) functional skill depth at an expert or emerging-expert level
  • Warehouse operations and/or inventory planning and optimization process and business experience, including knowledge of industry standard processes, systems and data approaches to drive transparency and excellence
