Airswift is looking for an Offshore Logistics Coordinator (12 months) to work in a contractor position in Rio de Janeiro for an oil and gas company.
Required! In-depth knowledge of deepwater drilling and completion operations, associated equipment, common suppliers, platform management on a mobile offshore drilling unit, and logistics involved in performing well work.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains daily contact with the Well Site Leader (WSL) to define personnel and equipment schedules for time planning.
Updates the equivalent logistics system with information on the movement of personnel, equipment, solid bulk, and fluids.
Updates the operational status of the equivalent logistics system with information on vessel movement, obtains approval from the WSL, and sends it to the daily distribution list.
Updates the equivalent logistics system with information on vessel operations during the night, using feedback from the night shift deck crew.
Updates unloading and return documentation and distributes it to the day shift deck crew.
Sends a daily plan to the vessel for both shifts. If there is a need to transport Dangerous Goods (DG) on the vessel's return, prepares the DG documentation and transfers it to the vessel.
Completes the daily cost spreadsheet and sends it to the Drilling Engineer.
Completes all documentation prior to the completion of vessel operations (Safety Data Sheet, return manifest, and waste transfer notes).
Obtains the mud analysis from the Mud Engineer and sends it, along with the documentation, to the vessel.
Monitors weather conditions for the vessel's next departure to verify that there are suitable weather conditions for operating the ship.
Completes deck planning to verify sufficient space on the platform to receive the cargo.
Sends loading instructions to the Supply Base team to verify that priority cargo is accessible (without selective collection). When there is transshipment from the platform, verifies available space.
Determines the specific loading order for the platform to collect the casing pipes in the correct sequence.
Maintains contact with the Drilling Engineer for the deck layout in casing loading (slick and centered) to verify the correct collection sequence on the platform.
Maintains contact with the Platform Stability section for any Variable Deck Loading (VDL) issues, which determines what can be collected on the platform.
Maintains contact with the Mud Engineer for all bulk loadings, considering pit space, which may be limited on the platform.
Monitors the availability of empty buckets for ship and bucket operations, as this impacts VDL; It calculates the number of full containers for VDL (Very Daily Load) and replaces full containers with empty ones to maintain availability on the platform.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Strong experience in offshore logistics, specifically in offshore oil and gas operations.
English advanced
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Kabal (Wellit).
