Online Surveyor
Position Overview
This position offers an opportunity to support advanced remote surveying and data collection efforts for offshore projects. The role is responsible for online survey activities on board offshore vessels, data collection from multiple survey sensors, monitoring positioning systems, and contributing to accurate survey deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct online survey activities aboard offshore vessels.
- Collect and monitor data from multiple survey sensors and positioning systems.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to daily activities and calibrations.
- Support the preparation of survey deliverables as built.
- Report to the offshore survey Party Chief overseeing daily operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Surveyor in marine or construction environments.
- Strong understanding of hydrographic survey techniques and equipment.
- Experience with offshore navigation and positioning systems.
- Additional expertise in subsea acoustic positioning systems and multibeam beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in surveying, Geomatics, or a related field.
- Eligibility to work on location (VISA/Work Permit).
- Required certifications: Full GWO, BOSIET, HUET, Shoulder measurement, Chester Step, Nebosh.
