About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead and manage all commissioning activities for an FPSO project. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and completing Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, and System Handover in a safe, compliant, and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all commissioning activities from Mechanical Completion through to System Handover.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Commissioning Execution Plan, including systemization, sequencing, manpower planning, and documentation control.
- Ensure commissioning activities are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project, statutory, classification, and client requirements.
- Enforce HSE policies and promote a strong safety culture across commissioning teams.
- Coordinate procurement and management of commissioning tools, consumables, spares, and first-fill materials.
- Manage interfaces and alignment between commissioning, engineering, construction, vendors, and operations teams.
- Chair commissioning alignment and kick-off meetings with EPCI contractors and site teams.
- Oversee the implementation and use of the Completion Management System (CMS) and track commissioning progress.
- Manage pre-commissioning and commissioning contractors and monitor vendor performance.
- Coordinate system handover to Operations / ORA teams in line with project handover procedures.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 10–15 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or FPSO projects, with significant experience in commissioning and start-up.
- Proven experience leading commissioning activities for large offshore or floater projects (FPSO/FSO preferred).
- Strong background in Mechanical Completion, Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, and System Handover.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related discipline).
