Job Title: Operations Manager – APAC
Role Overview
Responsible for end-to-end operational management across regional markets, ensuring accurate data, reliable supply, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. Works closely with internal teams and external partners to maintain business continuity and customer satisfaction in a regulated environment.
Reporting Line
- Reports to: Regional Director
- Direct reports: 1 operations support staff
Key Responsibilities
1. Systems & Data
- Maintain CRM/ERP systems with high data accuracy
- Ensure data supports reporting, forecasting, and audit readiness
2. Forecasting & Supply Alignment
- Coordinate with Sales and Supply Chain on monthly forecasts
- Support demand planning and operational alignment
3. Supply & Backorder Management
- Communicate supply issues promptly (within defined timelines)
- Manage backorders and mitigate supply risks
- Ensure continuity of customer service
4. Compliance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality requirements
- Prepare for audits and maintain full compliance
5. Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal stock levels based on demand and constraints
- Monitor ageing/slow-moving inventory and take corrective actions
6. Process Improvement
- Develop and enhance SOPs and workflows
- Drive efficiency, cost optimisation, and coordination improvements
7. Team Leadership
- Manage and develop team performance
- Conduct regular coaching and performance reviews
8. Administrative Support
- Support internal office and governance initiatives
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related
- ~5+ years in operations/order management (regulated industry preferred)
- Strong knowledge of order-to-cash and supply chain processes
- Experience with CRM/ERP systems and reporting tools
- Project management exposure preferred
