Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced P6 Scheduler to support planning and scheduling activities at a refinery in Port Arthur, TX. This role will be responsible for developing, updating, and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. The Scheduler will work closely with project managers, engineers, contractors, and site leadership to ensure accurate schedule progression, resource planning, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain project schedules in Primavera P6
- Track progress, update timelines, and identify potential delays
- Coordinate with project teams to gather schedule inputs and verify accuracy
- Develop lookahead schedules and progress reports for stakeholders
- Analyze critical paths and provide recommendations to keep projects on track
- Support planning efforts for turnaround, maintenance, and capital projects
Qualifications:
- Experience with Primavera P6 in an industrial or refinery environment
- Strong understanding of construction, maintenance, or turnaround workflows
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
