This contract position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a high-stakes environment, ensuring the successful execution of a multi-billion dollar project that is set to redefine the energy landscape.

Role Overview

  • Inspire safety commitment in Client and all Contractors and Subcontractors teams via deep knowledge of HSE and leadership by example.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE requirements across works to promote a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Analyse and report performance of all Contractors and Subcontractors activities, identify any deviations/risks and contribute to timely propose mitigations to Project Management Team.
  • Ensure site works are properly managed and executed by the Contractor and their approved Subcontractors in accordance with the Contract Agreement.
  • Monitor and review Contractor related Assurance activities and verification documentation.
  • Assure Contractor is performing all works in accordance with the approved plans and procedures.
  • Interface with other Company discipline Superintendents, Engineers, Planners, Authorities, Contractors, and Vendors to ensure key Contract deliverables are met.
  • Deliver key objectives including safety compliance, environmental management, assurance, budget management and control, project schedule milestones, and adherence to project approved and national specifications, standards, and written practices.
  • Assist in gathering and validating ‘lessons learnt’ from all project team members and provide feedback.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Civil Engineering expertise.
  • Experience in Constructability Reviews.
  • Strong understanding of LNG projects.
  • Deep knowledge of HSE standards and practices.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence critical decisions.

Education & Experience

  • Degree/diploma qualification or equivalent in a related discipline field and/or Oil & Gas construction projects.
  • 10 years’ experience in related discipline works with a suitable general knowledge in the oil and gas industry.
