Airswift is seeking a Planner to support project execution by understanding design and planning requirements and

providing input into project deliverables. This role ensures that work packages, procedures, and planning products

are developed to support safe, high?quality implementation within defined schedules.

The Planner is responsible for providing clear work instructions to implementation teams for assigned projects within their

discipline (Mechanical or Civil), ensuring alignment with engineering design, quality requirements, and site procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare work packages and planning documents, including drawings, work orders, Temporary Installation Procedures (TN), Temporary Test Procedures (TT), Instrument and Electrical Procedures (IP), Mechanical Maintenance Procedures (MP), and Periodic Test Procedures (PT).

  • Perform thorough system, structure, and component (SSC) walkdowns with the Responsible Engineer (RE), Designer, Implementation Manager (IM), and Technical Support prior to and throughout the design and planning phases.

  • Provide constructability and planning input to ensure work can be executed safely, with quality, and within scheduled timeframes.

  • Coordinate with the Responsible Engineer (RE), fellow Planners, and Quality Control (QC) to understand inspection requirements and ensure work order tasks are correctly coded for QC inspections.

  • Work with Technical Support, IM, and QC to ensure the correct procedures (IP, MP, PT, TN, TT) are specified within work orders.

  • Participate in or lead craft review meetings to confirm understanding of drawings, procedures, and work instructions prior to implementation.

  • Provide technical oversight during execution, ensuring work is performed in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, and work orders.

  • When work cannot be implemented as designed, collaborate with the RE and Designers to support updates through Engineering Change (EC) revisions.

  • Maintain knowledge of AD?EG?ALL?1132 requirements and support decisions related to continuing field work when applicable.

  • Revise work order planning as necessary when execution conditions change.

Required Experience

  • Experience in work planning or project planning within mechanical and/or civil disciplines.

  • Working knowledge of industrial or nuclear facility work management and planning processes.

  • Familiarity with quality control, inspections, and procedural compliance.

  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant technical experience, OR associate degree with additional years of relevant technical experience, OR high school diploma/GED with significant hands?on planning or maintenance experience.
