To support its engineering activities in France, the company is seeking an experienced Pressure Vessel Engineer to reinforce its project teams.
The Assignment
You will join a multidisciplinary engineering team involved in complex industrial projects with high criticality equipment.
Your scope will include:
- Engineering and specification of pressure vessels and static equipment
- Supplier technical evaluation and follow?up
- Coordination with other engineering disciplines
- Ensuring full compliance with international codes, standards, and safety requirements
This position offers exposure to a high?level EPC engineering environment with strong technical rigor and international interfaces.
The Role
As a Pressure Vessel Engineer, you will act as Equipment Requisition Engineer for static equipment and pressure vessels.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is:
- correctly designed and dimensioned,
- compliant with applicable codes and regulations,
- aligned with project and client technical requirements,
- properly followed up throughout vendor engineering phases.
You will work closely with suppliers, engineering teams, and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Pressure Equipment Design & Engineering
- Perform mechanical calculations of pressure vessels using AutoPipe Vessels
- Design and size static equipment: columns, drums, heat exchangers, reactors, filters, storage tanks
- Issue material data sheets (MDS) and guide drawings
- Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and pressure equipment regulations
Technical Specifications & Tender Phase
- Prepare technical specifications for calls for tender
- Participate in technical bid analysis and clarification meetings
- Prepare technical comparison tables
- Support the selection of equipment suppliers
Vendor Documents Review & Follow?up
- Follow up supplier engineering after purchase order
- Review and validate vendor drawings, calculations, and documentation
- Manage technical interfaces between vendors and internal disciplines
- Ensure consistency between vendor data and project requirements
Coordination & Interfaces
- Interface with process, piping, instrumentation, electrical, and civil teams
- Participate in coordination meetings
- Support resolution of technical issues during project execution
HSE & Quality
- Apply project HSE rules and safety procedures
- Ensure engineering activities comply with quality and safety standards
Profile
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Pressure Vessel Engineer or Static Equipment Engineer
- Experience in oil & gas, refining, or petrochemical projects
- Background in engineering companies or equipment vendors is required
Education
- Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering preferred (pressure equipment / boiler?making specialization is a strong advantage)
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of pressure vessel design and static equipment
- Experience with AutoPipe Vessels
- Proficiency in Word and Excel
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or BricsCAD is required

- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working in a multidisciplinary project environment
