  • Coordinating closely with multidisciplinary engineering disciplines (instrumentation, process, mechanical, piping, and automation) to ensure fully integrated electrical designs.

  • Proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies between Client and client design standards and requirements.

  • Providing technical input into constructability, maintainability, and operability reviews.

  • Supporting and mentoring junior designers and engineers, fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing within the electrical design team.

  • Communicating effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and construction partners.

  • Identifying technical risks and issues, developing practical solutions, and escalating when appropriate.

Technical & Industry Experience

  • Strong working knowledge of electrical design systems, workflows, and document management tools (e.g., SAP, KMS, or similar project systems).

  • Solid understanding of project scope development, workshare execution, and delegation of design activities across internal and external teams.

  • Familiarity with process safety and operability considerations (e.g., participation in HAZOP/LOPA reviews where electrical systems interface with process safety functions).

Strong working knowledge of core Electrical design deliverables, including:

  • Electrical single-line diagrams and schematics

  • Equipment layouts and electrical room layouts

  • Cable schedules, cable routing, tray and conduit layouts

  • Power distribution and load lists

  • Motor control center (MCC) layouts and schematics

  • Grounding and bonding drawings

  • Lighting and small power layouts
