About the Role

This is a Perth-based, full-time role Monday through Friday on a 12-months’ contract.

We are seeking a highly motivated Process Engineer to join our Engineering team. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary team, providing engineering support to offshore gas production facilities, ensuring safe, reliable, optimised, and efficient operations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide process engineering support for offshore production operations, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and managing key technical documentation.
  2. Coordinate periodic safety and risk assessments (e.g., HAZOP, LOPA) and track closure of resulting actions.
  3. Liaise with external contractors to progress technical deliverables.
  4. Initiate and manage change processes to support technical modifications.
  5. Ensure alignment with applicable management systems, engineering standards, and specifications.
  6. Promote strong HSEQ performance, including process safety and asset integrity.
  7. Maintain appropriate governance, verification, and assurance across all activities.
  8. Support continuous improvement and consistency in engineering practices.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a relevant engineering role.
  • Experience supporting operations within the oil and gas sector.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Demonstrated focus on continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM) is advantageous.
  • Experience with process technical integrity coordination (TIC) is desirable.
