Key Responsibilities
- Lead the process engineering discipline for offshore projects, ensuring timely delivery and technical quality
- Develop, review, and approve key engineering deliverables, including:
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Heat & Material Balances
- Process simulations and calculations
- Equipment sizing and datasheets
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to process engineers within the team
- Interface and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, piping, instrumentation, electrical, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry codes, and international standards
- Support and participate in process safety studies (e.g., HAZID, HAZOP, SIL assessments)
- Manage client interactions and act as the focal point for process-related discussions
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies during project execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related discipline
- Significant experience in oil & gas offshore projects, preferably FPSO/FSO
- Proven experience in a Lead Process Engineer role within FEED and/or EPC phases
- Strong expertise in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, UniSim)
- Sound knowledge of industry standards and regulations (API, ISO, etc.)
- Experience in handling multidisciplinary coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
