The Project
You will be assigned to a major EPC Oil & Gas project, supporting the Procurement team within a complex, international, and fast?paced project environment.
The Procurement function plays a critical role in project execution by ensuring proper administrative, organizational, and documentary management of all purchasing activities.
This position offers exposure to a large?scale project environment, involving multiple internal stakeholders and international suppliers.
The Role
As a Procurement Assistant, you will provide day?to?day administrative and organizational support to the Procurement department.
You will contribute to the efficiency, accuracy, and traceability of procurement activities, ensuring that documentation, communication, and coordination are managed in line with project requirements.
The role requires strong organization skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Administrative Support
- Provide daily administrative support to the Procurement team
- Manage and track procurement documentation (purchase orders, correspondence, signatures)
- Receive, distribute, and archive purchase orders and related documents
- Maintain and update procurement tracking tables and logs
Document Management & Communication
- Prepare, format, number, distribute, and archive procurement correspondence
- Prepare and manage Minutes of Meetings (MOMs)
- Update and archive documentation on SharePoint and GAIA
- Manage Procurement shared mailboxes
Coordination & Organization
- Organize internal and supplier meetings
- Act as an interface between Procurement, internal departments, and external vendors
- Support various general administrative and secretarial tasks related to the project

Profile
Education
- Degree or diploma (BAC to BAC+2/3 or equivalent) in Administration, Management, Procurement, or Office Support
Experience & Skills
- Experience in a procurement, purchasing, or project support role is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while being a committed team player
- Comfortable working in an international, project?driven environment
- Good command of English (spoken and written)
