Our client is seeking a Procurement Assistant to work within their facilities located in Houston, TX, for an initial 12-month assignment.

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Professional to support our Contract Team. This role will be responsible for providing administrative and coordination support across contract-related activities, ensuring accuracy, organization, and efficiency in documentation and processes. Experience working with contracts or contract management processes is a plus.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Contract Team
  • Assist in preparing, reviewing, and organizing contract documentation
  • Maintain and update contract records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Track contract statuses, deadlines, and renewals
  • Coordinate internal approvals and ensure proper documentation flow
  • Support contract onboarding processes and documentation requirements
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather required contract information
  • Assist with reporting, data entry, and document management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Support process improvements and administrative best practices
  • Support of large-scale engineering/procurement/construction (EPC) projects, capital projects, operations, and project development for Sempra Infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience in an administrative or support role
  • Experience working with contracts, legal documentation, or procurement processes (nice to have)
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with document management or contract management systems is a plus
