Production Manager – Industrial / Manufacturing

Join a leading player in the industrial manufacturing sector as a Production Manager, where you will take charge of mechanical and electrical production operations in Charleroi, Belgium. This is your opportunity to lead a dynamic team and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

  • Overall Production Management: Define, plan, and monitor operations to ensure quality, deadlines, and costs.
  • Team Management & Development: Manage 5 Team Leaders and 67 employees, developing skills, motivating, and coaching them.
  • Operational Quality: Ensure compliance with standards, processes, and customer requirements while monitoring non-conformities.
  • Safety & Environment: Promote a strong safety culture and ensure strict adherence to HSE rules.
  • Continuous Improvement (Lean): Identify areas for optimization and standardize processes to enhance efficiency.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Chemistry: Strong understanding of chemical processes and treatment systems.
  • Mechanical & Electrical Production Management: Proven experience in managing mechanical and/or electrical production.
  • Leadership: Natural leadership skills with the ability to unite teams and make informed decisions.
  • KPI Management: Solid understanding of KPIs, planning, and workflows.
  • Multicultural Communication: Fluent in French and professional proficiency in English.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 8-12+ years of production leadership experience in mechanical/electrical environments.
