One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking a Project Controls Coordinator II to work on a 12 - month assignment in their facilities in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
- Develop project control Plan.
- Develop project estimate, control budget and WBS structure.
- Track and monitor forecast at completion, incurred cost and budget. Provide variance analysis and explanation.
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure engagement with the project progress, changes, highlights, and issues.
- Communicate the status and issues with execution and construction team.
- Proactively report cost status and efficiently communicate any risk and mitigation plan.
- Update actual progress, project milestones, and completion dates.
- Implement Earned Value Management. Ensure accurate CPI and Earned Value curve are reported.
- Implement change management. Initiate PCOs, Trends and AFE revisions. Support on the supplemental funding request.
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in engineering or construction.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction or project controls.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and to work with a minimum level of supervision.
- Ability to communicate and interact effectively in a team environment.
- Computer skills using Oracle, Power BI and Microsoft Office products specifically Excel.
