We are currently searching for a Project Engineer, to be based in Rotterdam, Netherlands and work on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
Job Description:
The Engineering Project Engineer's purpose is to support the Engineering Project Manager in delivering projects that enhance operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability, contributing to the organization's strategic objectives and long-term success.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Engineering Project Manager in managing engineering work including engineering deliverables, work-hour and schedule control.
- Work across all engineering disciplines to ensure the engineering deliverables are completed on time, on budget, on quality and in accordance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure lessons learnt are captured, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
- Support actively discipline interfaces, including third parties where applicable (clients, subcontractors, vendors, classification societies and regulatory bodies).
Education and Experiences:
- Engineering diploma or equivalent qualification.
- 5–10 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry.
- Experience with FPSO projects is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.
- Effective time management and organizational abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
