About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with strong processing plant experience to join a permanent role. This role is well suited to a hands-on engineer with proven capability delivering work in processing plant environments, managing contractors, and driving project outcomes safely and efficiently.

Key Requirements

  • Lead and coordinate day-to-day project engineering activities within a processing plant environment
  • Support project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting activities
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
  • Coordinate engineering, construction, and commissioning activities
  • Provide technical input into design reviews, constructability assessments, and risk mitigation
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards
  • Interface effectively with site operations, maintenance, and other project stakeholders
  • Assist with project documentation including ITPs, RFIs, progress reports, and handover packages

What you’ll need to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 6 – 8 years of experience ideally in Mechanical background and has worked on processing plants.
  • Demonstrated experience working in processing plants (e.g. gold, copper,nickel and lithium)
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, contractor management, and site execution
  • High level of safety awareness with experience working on live or operational sites
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
