EPCI Project Engineer – HSE & Lifting

Our client is seeking an experienced EPCI Project Engineer – HSE & Lifting to support a major deepwater LNG development project in Mozambique. This is a high-profile offshore installation role focused on lifting operations, load-out activities, marine coordination, and HSE compliance across yard and offshore campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise lifting, rigging, and load-out operations
- Ensure compliance with project HSE standards and approved lifting procedures
- Review lifting plans, task plans, and risk assessments
- Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
- Interface with Marine Warranty Surveyors during load-out and sail-away activities
- Act as Offshore Field/Project Engineer onboard installation vessels
- Monitor rigging certification and lifting equipment compliance
- Support safe execution of deepwater installation campaigns
Requirements
- Engineering Degree
- Minimum 10 years’ experience within offshore deepwater installation projects
- Strong background in lifting operations, rigging, load-out, and subsea installation activities
- Familiarity with DNV, API, and offshore installation standards
- Previous vessel-based offshore experience essential
- Experience reviewing contractor procedures and installation analyses
- Strong HSE focus with practical offshore operational knowledge
- Current BOSIET certification required
- Fluent English communication skills
