Process Engineer

Airswift is currently recruiting a Project Engineer – Process for a major resource project in Western Australia.
Reporting to the Package Lead, you will support the delivery of critical process infrastructure packages from design through to execution, working closely with contractors, engineering teams and project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, procurement, construction and commissioning of process infrastructure works.
- Assist with the development and management of scopes of work for CSMPEI packages and process equipment.
- Coordinate project interfaces between suppliers, contractors and construction teams.
- Support procurement activities including tender evaluations, contract administration and progress monitoring.
- Assist in managing construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Participate in the resolution of technical queries, design changes and non-conformances.
- Monitor project risks, schedule performance and package delivery outcomes.
- Contribute to HAZID, HAZOP, Constructability and Safety in Design reviews.
- Undertake field inspections and support contractor performance monitoring and reporting.
- Assist senior project personnel with cost, schedule, risk and HSE reporting requirements.
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 3+ years' experience in mining, resources or infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to process infrastructure including crushing, conveyors, processing plants or associated facilities.
- Understanding of project delivery, construction and contractor management principles.
- Knowledge of quality systems, inspections and construction compliance requirements.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving capability and a proactive approach.
