Position summary
An oil & gas engineering company in Kuala Lumpur is hiring a contract Project Execution Manager / Site Project Manager for a 2-year renewable assignment supporting project delivery in remote Kalimantan, Indonesia. The role is accountable for smooth execution across the KL engineering team, procurement, fabrication yards in China and Indonesia, and site construction and installation, with primary responsibility for schedule, cost, coordination, constructability, and execution readiness.
Employment terms
Contract duration: 2 years, extendable based on project progress.
Work location: Project site in Kalimantan, Indonesia, with coordination interface to Kuala Lumpur and fabrication/procurement teams in China and Indonesia
Mobility: Willingness to be stationed full-time at site is essential.
Industry: Oil & gas / EPC / onshore processing facility / LNG Plant project execution.
Key objectives
- Ensure engineering, procurement, fabrication, logistics, construction, and installation activities are aligned to the approved project schedule and budget.
- Act as the single execution focal point between KL engineering, fabrication shops, procurement teams, site contractors, and client representatives.
- Drive timely issue resolution on site, including engineering clarification, material shortfall, vendor deviation, interface conflicts, and construction sequencing risks.
- Maintain compliance with Indonesian project execution requirements, including local manpower, contractor coordination, and relevant regulatory obligations.
