Airswift is hiring Project Schedulers for Mission Critical construction projects in various states across the US. Current projects are located in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Iowa.
Summary
The Scheduler maintains close collaboration with the Project Team to ensure all work meets or exceeds Project Controls standards. In this hands-on role, the scheduler interfaces directly with estimating, design, and construction teams to support accurate lifecycle management of quantities, costs, and schedules from the original estimate through project completion.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares Critical Path Method (CPM) scenarios for management review and develops complete CPM schedules based on approved approaches.
- Collects, analyzes, and applies historical and forecast data to support realistic planning and future projections.
- Develops a strong understanding of project scopes and contract requirements.
- Communicates with the Owner to ensure satisfaction and initiates corrective actions when necessary.
- Provides schedule analysis for delays and impacts to help identify and mitigate project risks.
- Ensures project teams understand and properly respond to schedule-related risks and delays.
- Monitors and reports concerns related to contract notices, delays, and schedule documentation.
- Participates in project pursuits, including fee proposals, RFP responses, and presentation development.
- Produces clear schedule narratives documenting basis, assumptions, and critical elements for internal use, GMPs, and Owner deliverables.
- Conducts monthly schedule audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Trains or assists in training Project Managers and Superintendents on scheduling practices and software.
- Contributes to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of the Earned Value Management System.
- Proficient in document control and office software such as Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Office.
- Self-sufficient in scheduling software, including Primavera P6 or Microsoft Projects.
- Willingness to relocate to project sites as required; travel and relocation are expected. Per diem is available for traveling staff, and all schedulers must work 100% on-site at their assigned project.
