Qualification:
• Minimum Higher National Diploma (HND) or Diploma in Mechanical/Materials Engineering.
• American Welding Society CWI, CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector, or approved equivalent certificate is an advantage.
• ASNT LEVEL II in NDT (VT, MT, PT, RT, UT) certificate is an advantage.
Experience:
• Minimum of 10 years experience, in the role of Quality Control Inspector for materials in Oil & Gas, projects.
• Minimum 5 years in offshore projects.
• Experience should cover pre-fabrication works and works in installation/construction phases (onshore/ offshore). Experience and knowledge of activities related to discipline inspection.
• Inspection for incoming project material for all discipline (structure, piping, pipeline architectural and mechanical) in accordance with material purchase order, vendor packing list, and project specification.
• Experience with materials: carbon steels, SS, DSS steels, Monel, Inconel, CRA, GRE/GRP and CUNI.
• Material certification awareness (i.e.BS EN 10204).
• Should be familiar with QC works undertaken by Contractors/Sub-Contractors/ Vendors/Manufacturers etc. Knowledge on International codes and standards, ISO 9001: 2015 requirements is preferable.
• Shall have a background and thorough knowledge of relevant codes such as API, ASME, ASTM, EN, Shell DEP, NACE, and ISO.
