Overview

Airswift is seeking a QAQC Lead to support a major offshore oil & gas development project. This role is critical in driving quality excellence across a complex, multi-package execution environment, ensuring compliance, performance, and continuous improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

Reporting to the Performance & Engagement Manager, the successful candidate will play a central role in defining and implementing the Project Quality Management framework while enabling delivery performance across all workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Quality Management

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and company standards
  • Review and challenge contractor quality documentation (Quality Plans, ITPs, procedures)
  • Lead audit planning and execution (internal and external), including follow-up actions
  • Manage the QMS document register and ensure alignment across packages
  • Drive lessons learned implementation from previous offshore projects

Management of Change (MoC)

  • Act as focal point for project-wide MoC processes
  • Ensure all changes are properly identified, assessed, documented, and approved
  • Coordinate MoC activities across engineering, project controls, HSE, and contract functions
  • Support decision-making through impact assessment (cost, schedule, risk, quality)
  • Maintain traceability between changes, risks, and quality outcomes

Cross-Package Coordination

  • Coordinate quality activities across all project packages (SURF, SPS, FPSO, FOPS, Drilling & Wells, etc.)
  • Facilitate quality reviews and ensure alignment between teams and contractors
  • Oversee audits, inspections, and surveillance activities
  • Provide functional guidance to QA/QC teams across packages

Quality Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify, monitor, and close out non-conformities and quality issues
  • Ensure root cause analysis and effective corrective/preventive actions
  • Track contractor performance and recurring deviations
  • Escalate critical risks with mitigation strategies

Performance & Continuous Improvement

  • Support KPI development, reporting, and performance monitoring
  • Drive initiatives to improve execution efficiency and quality maturity
  • Promote a strong quality culture throughout the project organization

HSE Integration

  • Ensure alignment between Quality and HSE requirements
  • Promote high standards of HSSE behavior across all activities
  • Participate in site and yard visits as required

Reporting & Stakeholder Management

  • Deliver regular quality reports including KPIs, audits, and risk analysis
  • Interface with partners and stakeholders on quality-related topics
  • Contribute to project close-out and lessons learned documentation

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas projects, ideally offshore developments
  • Proven experience in a senior quality or QA/QC role within complex projects
  • Strong background in quality management systems and interface coordination
  • Experience managing multi-package/project environments
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent (MSc preferred)
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma is a plus)
