QA Engineer (Automation & CI/CD Focus)
Duration: Immediate start – 30 June 2027
Workload: Full time hours
Setup: Freelance (Daily rate / Limited Company / Umbrella / Sole Trader)
Location: Remote from Poland
We are looking for a QA Engineer to strengthen quality assurance, test automation, and CI/CD capabilities for a complex application environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and maintain manual test cases for new features and regression testing
- Review, improve, and expand test coverage across the application
- Convert manual test cases into robust automated test scripts
- Develop and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, functional)
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting build, test, and deployment workflows
- Ensure reliable deployments across test, acceptance, and production environments
Must-Have Skills
- 3–6+ years’ experience in QA, test automation, or DevOps roles
- Strong Python knowledge
- Solid manual testing and test case design experience
- Experience with Java-based testing and JUnit
- Hands-on CI/CD experience (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins)
- Docker experience
Nice-to-Have
- Azure or other cloud exposure
- Selenium or Robot Framework experience
- FastAPI, Celery, SQLAlchemy knowledge
- Kubernetes / Helm experience
