Airswift is looking for a Quality Engineer/Lead to work for a major O&G company in Houston, TX, for an initial 12-months assignment.
Quality Engineer/Lead is a technical office-based opportunity supporting asset operations quality activities across a portfolio of operational assets, with a focus on process improvement, vendor quality, and engineering support.

This position sits within an operational quality environment supporting work linked to asset operations, vendor interfaces, and continuous improvement activities across a complex technical setting.
About the Role
Quality Engineer/Lead will support quality-related activities for asset operations and contribute to the development, review, and improvement of quality documentation, requirements, and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop written process documentation where gaps exist.
- Update existing equipment quality requirements to align with industry standard updates and vendor feedback.
- Work with engineers to assist in vendor contracting, purchasing, and QAQC inspection assignments.
- Support RCA work associated with quality events, including corrective action tracking and implementation.
- Contribute to vendor audits, NCR management, and supply chain improvements.
- Coordinate good receipt inspection support and turnaround activities.
- Assist in governance reviews of project delivery against corporate expectations.
- Review and develop future project front end requirements, including Quality Strategy, QMP, and resourcing.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 15-25 years experienced Quality engineer/lead.
- Experience supporting asset operations quality support.
- Experience with vendor audits, NCR management, RCA work, QAQC inspection assignments, and supply chain improvements.
- Experience working with engineers on vendor contracting and purchasing. Project experience is a bonus.
