Join a leading company as a Refrigeration Services Manager, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal performance and compliance of cold beverage and ice cream equipment.
Role Overview
- Team Leadership & Management: Supervise, train, and mentor refrigeration coordinators/technicians, including scheduling service calls, managing workloads, and evaluating performance.
- Preventive Maintenance & Repair: Manage cold beverage and ice cream equipment repair and preventative maintenance programs/schedules to ensure maximum uptime and compliance with temperature standards.
- Technical Support & Compliance: Provide technical guidance on complex issues, ensure adherence to industrial safety standards, and manage refrigerant handling.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Accredit, manage, and audit third-party service providers and technicians in regional outstation locations.
- Budgeting & Reporting: Develop, monitor, and control maintenance budgets, and manage inventory levels for spare parts and equipment.
- Operational Excellence: Utilize service management software to track work orders, ensure timely response to service calls, and optimize service quality.
- Documentation Control & Process Improvement: Enforce proper cold chain documentation used by stakeholders and lead process improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications
- Refrigeration expertise: Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC.
- Preventive Maintenance: Experience in developing and managing maintenance schedules.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to provide technical support for complex refrigeration issues.
- Planning and Scheduling: Skills in effectively planning and scheduling service operations.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Experience in managing third-party service providers.
- Process Improvement: Ability to lead initiatives for operational excellence.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, HVAC, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in refrigeration or HVAC systems are advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in refrigeration services management or a similar role.
