Rotating Equipment Principal Engineer
Role Overview
Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise for rotating equipment across FPSO projects and assets, ensuring high standards in design, reliability, operability, and lifecycle performance. Act as a key contributor to knowledge management, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with peers across Regional Centers to drive knowledge sharing while serving as a mentor and subject-matter consultant to junior engineers, ensuring effective knowledge transfer, retention of product expertise, and consistent application of best practices.
- Partner with the Discipline Manager, Discipline Leads, and engineering teams to continuously enhance the quality and efficiency of engineering deliverables.
- Actively strengthen technical expertise by staying current with industry developments and internal technology advancements, while ensuring lessons learned from projects, fleet operations, and new technologies are systematically captured and applied.
- Undertake leadership responsibilities as required, including serving as Discipline Lead, Technical Expert (TE), or Engineering Method Authority for designated scopes of work.
Requirements
Education: Engineer Diploma in relevant discipline
Experience: More than 25 years experience in Oil & Gas Industry
