Role Overview
- Utilize technical expertise to develop safe and quality solutions in support of projects and discipline requirements without guidance.
- Ensure successful resolution of complex technical issues to meet project and discipline deliverables.
- Engage with peers across Regional Centers to promote knowledge sharing and act as a consultant and mentor to less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with Discipline Manager, Discipline Leads, and engineering staff to seek continuous improvement in both quality and efficiency of work.
- Continuously improve and promote technical knowledge and capabilities by staying abreast of the latest industry developments.
- Act as Discipline Lead for assigned scope of work and/or be designated as a Technical Expert (TE) and/or Engineering Method Authority.
Skills & Qualifications
- Rotating Equipment Expertise: In-depth knowledge of mechanical rotating equipment.
- Concept Development: Ability to develop innovative concepts for projects.
- Detailed Design: Proficient in creating detailed designs for engineering projects.
- Systems Engineering: Strong understanding of systems engineering principles.
- Inspection, Testing, Commissioning: Experience in overseeing inspection, testing, and commissioning processes.
- Monitoring: Skills in monitoring equipment performance and reliability.
- Package Engineering: Knowledge of package engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Reliability: Focus on reliability, operability, and safety in engineering solutions.
- Analysis: Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and decision-making.
Education & Experience
- Qualifications: Engineer Diploma in relevant discipline.
- Experience: More than 25 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
