Airswift is searching for a Senior Facility Engineer to work with a leading company in the Oil & Gas sector on a large-scale offshore development project.

This is a third-party contractor position on a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

This role serves as a technical authority for offshore facilities and structural engineering, ensuring design integrity, regulatory compliance, and safe execution across all project phases — from concept selection through FEED, detailed engineering, construction, and offshore installation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership across facilities and structural engineering disciplines
  • Support project delivery from concept selection through installation and commissioning
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee FEED and EPCI contractor deliverables and technical evaluations
  • Perform engineering studies, constructability reviews, and risk assessments
  • Interface with contractors, regulatory bodies, and internal teams
  • Support cost estimation, scheduling, and procurement processes
  • Participate in HAZOPs, design reviews, and project risk management activities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural or related)
  • Minimum 25 years of offshore experience
  • Strong expertise in offshore facilities and structural engineering
  • Proven experience as an Owner’s Engineer / Technical Authority
  • Extensive experience in FEED and detailed engineering phases
  • Knowledge of industry codes (API, ASME, etc.) and offshore regulations
  • Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary offshore projects
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
