Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer instrumentation and control systems for offshore platforms.
- Develop P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) and instrument datasheets
- Select and specify process instrumentation, sensors, and control devices
- Lead instrument engineering teams and coordinate with other disciplines
- Manage instrument procurement, vendor management, and quality assurance
- Develop instrument installation and commissioning procedures
Attend instrument FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests) and SAT (Site Acceptance Tests) - Ensure compliance with international standards (IEC, ISA, API)
- Collaborate with process engineers and DCS vendors
- Support field troubleshooting and post-commissioning modifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation/Control Engineering or equivalent
- 5-10 years of experience in offshore oil & gas EPCI projects
- Strong background with multinational engineering companies
- In-depth knowledge of instrumentation systems and control strategies
- Proficiency in P&ID development and instrument sizing software
- Experience with DCS/SCADA systems and automation platforms
- Familiarity with international codes (IEC 61508, ISA 84, API 1165)
