Overview
We are currently recruiting Systems Engineers with extensive MBSE experience to support major Defence, based in Canberra. The positions are aimed at Senior or Principal-level engineers who enjoy solving complex, working closely with clients, and influencing real-world capability outcomes.
Applicants must have current NV1 clearance.
Location- Canberra, ACT
Duration- Permanent, Full-time, Monday-Friday
Salary- $150,000 - $200,000 + Super
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to deliver systems engineering solutions across complex projects
- Apply systems engineering principles and modelling approaches, including the use of MBSE tools, to support concept development and capability delivery
- Contribute to the development of system architectures, requirements, and analytical outputs
- Engage with stakeholders to understand needs and support delivery of practical, fit-for-purpose solutions
- Support technical workshops, design reviews, and key project deliverables
- Communicate technical outcomes clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team
Required Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Systems Engineering experience within Defence environment
Exposure to MBSE / digital engineering approaches and relevant toolsets such as SysML, CATIA (Cameo), Enterprise Architect or Capella, etc…
Experince using DOORS Classic or NG
NV1 Clearance
Solid understanding of INCOSE Systems Engineering principles.
Further qualifications such as CPEng, INCOSE ASEP/CSEP is desirable but not required
