Airswift is seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer – Process to join a major mining project delivering large-scale process infrastructure from design through to execution.
This role offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle on a significant resource development, leading the delivery of key process infrastructure packages while working within a high-performing project team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of process infrastructure packages from planning and procurement through to construction and commissioning.
- Manage CSMPEI (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical & Instrumentation) scopes associated with primary crushing, conveyors and supporting infrastructure.
- Coordinate interfaces between contractors, equipment suppliers, project teams and key stakeholders.
- Manage procurement activities, contract administration, technical evaluations, variations and contractor performance.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to quality requirements.
- Drive resolution of technical queries, design changes and non-conformances.
- Monitor and report on project progress, risks, opportunities and key milestones.
- Participate in safety reviews including HAZID, HAZOP, Constructability and design reviews.
- Support project governance, continuous improvement initiatives and lessons learned processes.
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
- 8+ years' experience delivering mining, resources or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience managing process infrastructure packages including crushing, conveying or bulk materials handling systems.
- Demonstrated experience across project planning, procurement, construction and commissioning phases.
- Strong knowledge of contractor management, construction methodologies and project controls.
- Proven stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to operate effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.
