Senior Structural Engineer

Preparation of bid documents, tender assistance and evaluation of bids from the Contractors.

Review and modification of the detailed engineering design and construction plans (including shop drawings) for the Viaduct and Bridge structures

Review the Contractor’s work plan and identify the feasibility of their work method statements.

Evaluation of claims, variations orders and value engineering proposals submitted by the Contractors

Coordinating and interfacing with Architect & Building, E&M and Track teams on matters relating to Bridges and Viaducts

Assist the QA/QC team, construction management team, and material engineers on various Viaduct and Bridge structures technical matters.

Drafting letters in response to the Contractor’s submittals based on the project Contract guidelines

Assist the BIM team with managing the Contractor’s BIM execution plan.

Assist the Client with various inter-agency coordination meetings.

Required to have experience in Design/Construction of Balanced Cantilever Bridges and/or Segmental Viaducts.
