Senior Subsea Designer

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Subsea Designer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of subsea engineering for a leading player in the energy sector. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in design and engineering while working in a hybrid environment that promotes flexibility and innovation.

Role Overview

  • Independently apply advanced engineering techniques under general supervision.

  • Make decisions on engineering problems and methods, representing the organization in conferences to resolve important questions.

  • Negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations.

  • Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.

  • Consult extensively with associates, offering scientific interpretations and advice.

  • Utilize intermediate know-how using AutoCAD Inventor.

  • Contribute to FEED project experience.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Subsea design expertise.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.

  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD Inventor (3D software).

  • Strong decision-making skills in engineering contexts.

  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship.

Education & Experience

  • Qualifications: Senior-level experience with a minimum of 7 years in subsea design.

  • Certifications: Relevant engineering certifications are advantageous.

  • Experience: Proven track record in subsea projects and FEED experience.

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive rate of £45 per hour, outside IR35.

  • Hybrid working model: 3 days in the office (Leatherhead) and 2 days remotely.
