START-UP ENGINEER

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
At least 10 years of experience in Process Engineering, with proven involvement in the development of Start-Up Procedures, Operating Procedures, and Commissioning Procedures
Prior experience with the Tangguh Expansion Project will be considered a strong advantage
Demonstrated hands-on experience in commissioning and/or start-up activities at site
Experience working closely alongside Operations teams during pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up phases
Proficient in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with multi?national stakeholders
Strong commitment to HSSE leadership, including compliance with site HSSE rules and BP Life?Saving Rules
Willingness to be site?based during critical project phases, as required by the project
Additional Preferred Criteria:
Strong understanding of process safety, including HAZOP, HAZID, and risk assessment methodologies
Experience in start-up assurance, readiness reviews, and system handover processes
Familiarity with oil and gas facilities, including upstream and/or LNG projects
Ability to troubleshoot process upsets during commissioning and early operations
Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, construction, operations, and vendors)
Good knowledge of international standards and best practices (e.g., API, ISO, or equivalent)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to be site-based during critical project phases
