Structural Engineer to be part of our Structural Integrity team;
12-month contract
Junior-intermediate level
Office based with frequent travel to mine sites
Role:
Perform structural inspections and assess typical structural defects (Impact, corrosion, non-compliance, fatigue).
Analyse static machinery and evaluate structural integrity.
Prepare inspection reports and repair methodologies.
Conduct risk analysis related to structural components.
Requirements:
2 to 5 years of experience in structural design or structural inspection.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Proficiency in relevant engineering standards (AS4324.1, AS1170, AS4100, AS3600, AS1657).
Sound understanding of asset management, materials handling equipment, and general civil works.
Ability to frequently travel to mine sites and work in remote areas.
Strong communication skills.
Must have valid WA driver’s license and construction white card – non negotiable.
Proficiency in Microsoft excel and Microsoft word
