Airswift is looking for a Subsea Production System Lead to work in a contractor position in Mexico City for an oil and gas company.
The SPS Lead serves as the technical authority for Zama subsea hardware, providing leadership from concept selection through FEED, detailed engineering, interface engineering (subsea, well operation and FPSO), construction, offshore installation, pre-commissioning and operational support. The role is responsible for ensuring design integrity, regulatory compliance, constructability, and safe execution far the Zama subsea project.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure safe working practices are implemented within the team along alt phases of
the project.
Promote a positive safety culture.
Assist the SURF/SPS/GEP Manager in the successful management and achievement
of project objectives.
Provide technical oversight and quality assurance throughout the project's phases. It includes conducting post-job evaluations and capture lessons learned to drive continuous improvement across subsea hardware and SPS engineering activities.
Act as the project's technical authority for subsea hardware and SPS.
Perform ad-hoc engineering studies related to subsea engineering.
Support the preparation of procurement package information as required.
Manage and coordinate the subsea hardware engineering team members during FEED, Contract finalization, Project preparation and Project execution. Inform, support and direct personnel in their roles, responsibilities, and objectives as necessary.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent).
Extensive experience in subsea systems, including:
o Design, construction and implementation of subsea hardware; a Design, construction and implementation of subsea systems;
o Design, construction and implementation of subsea control systems;
o Subsea installation operations (offshore experience);
o Subsea drilling and completion operations (offshore experience);
o Subsea production operations (offshore experience);
o Flow assurance;
o Subsea intervention operations (including offshore experience);
o Subsea interconnection design in mature fields (including offshore experience);
o Subsea well abandonment and removal operations (including offshore experience).
International experience in executing deepwater projects and operations, including experience in complying with foreign regulations.
Proven experience as Owner's Engineer/technical authority for offshore deepwater projects and operations.
Prior experience in delivering subsea equipment
Prior experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering
Proven leadership in subsea hardware and systems, from the conceptual phase, through the FEED phase, to detailed engineering, with continuity in construction and offshore installation support.
Experience with subsea Christmas trees, subsea control systems, manifolds, connectors, subsea measurement, and defining pre-commissioning strategies in offshore/subsea environments.
Experience with drilling operations, completion operations, subsea Christmas trees, subsea Christmas tree controls, umbilicals, manifolds, pipelines, jumpers, and riser systems (rigid and/or flexible) in offshore environments.
Familiarity with rigid/flexible hybrid systems, pigging philosophy development, and defining pre-commissioning strategies.
Experience with international engineering standards for subsea Christmas trees, subsea control systems, manifolds, connectors, subsea measurement and associated items during all project phases.
