Airswift is looking for a Subsea System Integration Lead to work in a contractor position in Mexico City for an oil and gas company.
The Subsea, System Integration Lead is the technical authority responsible for overseeing subsea system integration activities from FEED through detailed engineering, construction, and installation, pre-commissioning, and early operational support, ensuring design integrity and regulatory compliance for the Zama Project in the Gulf of Mexico/ Mexico.
The Subsea, System Integration will provide coordination across multiple disciplines and phases, requiring extensive subsea experience and technical authority in deepwater projects, with a preference for familiarity with Mexican offshore regulatory processes and projects
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure safe working practices are implemented within the team along all phases of the project.
Promote a positive safety culture.
Assist the SURF, GEP and SPS Leads in the successful management and
achievement of subsea/offshore engineering work.
Assist the SURF/SPS/GEP Manager in the successful management and achievement
of project objectives.
Provide technical oversight and quality assurance throughout the project's phases. It includes conducting post-job evaluations and capture lessons learned to drive continuous improvement across SURF and SPS engineering activities.
Act as the project's technical authority for System Engineering.
Perform ad-hoc engineering studies related to Subsea Production Systems, Subsea Controls & Distribution, Subsea Installation Operations, Subsea Production Operations, Subsea Intervention Operations, Subsea Brownfietd Tie-in, and Subsea P&A Operations.
Support the preparation of procurement package information as required.
Assist the SURF, GEP and SPS Managers to coordinate the subsea engineering work during pre-FEED, FEED, Contract finalization, Project preparation and Project execution.
Oversee progress, fitness for purpose, and compliance with COMPANY Rules and Specifications, Project requirements and international codes of alt engineering for Subsea Controls & Distribution, Risers, Flowlines, Subsea Production Systems, and associate items during all Project phases.
Provide support to the SURF, GEP, and SPS Leads in evaluating the suitability and compliance of SURF, SPS, and GEP FEED and EPCI technical proposals in accordance with Project and COMPANY standards. Assist the SURF, GEP, and SPS Leads during technical discussions with Tenderers, ensuring that all technical qualifications are addressed and closed promptly.
Ensure that all engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing, qualification, pre- commissioning and commissioning aspects are suitably addressed during the different engineering phases by timely reviewing (or having reviewed) and validating the relevant Subsea Controls & Distribution documentation issued by FEED and EPCI Contractor.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (mechanical, electrical or equivalent).
Extensive experience in subsea engineering, including:
Design, construction and implementation of subsea systems
Design, construction and implementation of subsea hardware
Design, construction and implementation of subsea systems
Subsea installation operations (offshore experience)
Subsea drilling and completion operations (offshore experience)
Subsea production operations (offshore experience)
Flow Assurance and Operability (FA&O)
Subsea intervention operations (including offshore experience)
Subsea interconnection design in existing fields (including offshore experience)
Subsea well abandonment and removal operations (including offshore experience)
Experience in deepwater offshore projects and operations
International experience in executing deepwater projects and operations, including experience in international regulatory compliance
Proven leadership in subsea production systems, including control and distribution, from the FEED phase to detailed engineering, with continuity into construction and offshore installation support.
Experience with drilling operations, completion operations, Christmas trees, Christmas tree controls, umbilicals, manifolds, pipelines, jumpers, and riser systems (rigid and/or flexible) in offshore environments.
Familiarity with rigid/flexible hybrid systems, pigging philosophy development, and pre-commissioning strategy definition.
