We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source for System Completion Lead specialising in Onshore LNG Projects. This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis 6-days per week / 10 hours per day. Please see details below:
Title: System Completion Lead
Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice)
Duration: 36 months (potential for extension)

Job Purpose:
Completion & Handover Lead is responsible of the safe and certified transfer of systems from Construction to Commissioning, and from Commissioning to Start-up and OES for his assigned area. Ensure that all tasks are complete, workable, as per project and design specification following Commissioning sequence and priorities. Providing leadership, push-pull engagement between EPC CTR and CPY to successfully deliver within project timelines.
Key Accountabilities:
Reports to Head of Completion – NFS/W Onshore.
Oversee the preparation & review of all documentation related to system completion & handover.
Review the comprehensive strategies for system completion & handover in a way to achieve milestones due dates.
Participate in the early coordination mechanism from construction to PCC, and from PCC to OES.
Monitor the completion system to insure it is updated reflecting the agreed limit of systems and the plan is progressed maintaining integrity of documentation in line with the Commissioning & start-up sequence. Ensure that there are no frequent changes of the database to avoid re-work and delays and manage the proper implementation of management of change for required changes.
Identify potential risks of delay and monitor proper implementation of mitigation strategies and plans to minimize and prevent delay to critical handover milestones. Ensure effective punch list management by contractor expediting punch closure to support the handover of sub/systems.
Coordinate with QELNG PMT, quality and Commissioning teams to support efficient system completion & handover processes.
Provide day-to-day coordination with EPC Contractor counterpart. Participate and monitor contractors skyline subsystem progress while providing verification of ITR and dossier progress to relevant construction and pre/commissioning mangers.
Implement the lessons learnt from other projects to increase efficiencies.
Ensure safe and smooth Care Custody & Control of Area handover documentation from Contractor to OES.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in Engineering.
Knowledge and/or Experience
12 years experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g.,construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel.
Strong leadership skills, experience coordinating with multi-discipline teams, EPC Contractors and working closely with construction, quality and commissioning.
Familiar and conversant with systemization, system completion database, PCC procedures, punch list database including SIMOPS.
Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurfaces, etc.
Knowledge in compliance with contract requirements including codes and standards, and contract technical specification compliance.
Technical and Business Skills
Multi-discipline Technical background in the oil & gas industry.
Good understanding of Construction, Commissioning, Start-up & Operation phases.
Good teamwork and facilitation skills.
