Training Systems Supervisor
Location: Perth, WA
Contract: 12-month casual contract
Work Schedule: 9/80 (compressed work week – 9-hour days with every second Friday off)
Airswift is recruiting a Training Systems Supervisor to join a leading energy operator in Perth. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of training and competency systems within a high-performing operations environment, with strong potential for long-term progression.
Role Overview
Responsible for the governance, ownership, and improvement of training and competency systems across operations.
The role leads system support activities, ensuring data integrity, system performance, and user experience across platforms (e.g. CMS, Workday), while partnering with training, operations, and technical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team supporting training systems (approx. 8 direct reports)
- Ensure accurate execution of training frameworks and competency requirements
- Maintain system governance, data integrity, and compliance
- Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes
- Act as primary contact for system performance and issue resolution
- Collaborate with Training Advisors, Operations, and system owners
- Support user adoption and best practice use of systems
Key Requirements
- Experience in vocational training within oil & gas, energy, or resources
- Proven ability supervising teams and managing operational systems
- Knowledge of training/competency systems (CMS, Workday, LMS)
- Strong data governance and process improvement capability
- Effective stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to translate complex frameworks into practical solutions
