Work Program Coordinator


Location: Angola Offshore
Rotation: 28 days / 28 days rotation
Start date: September 2026
Duration: 12 months renewable contract

Position Overview

This position forms a critical part of the LIFEX execution team within the brownfield division. The role is responsible for consolidating, coordinating, executing, and ensuring the reliability of the integrated LIFEX Work Program, which encompasses multidisciplinary activities across multiple offshore assets. The function requires advanced planning, project management, risk assessment, cost optimization, and continuous improvement to extend asset lifespans and maximize operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Challenge and coordinate Package Leaders, integrating all activities into consolidated planning and optimizing resource utilization.
  • Organize and facilitate regular coordination meetings, lookahead sessions, and progress reviews with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain and report overall project progress, highlighting areas of concern and deviations from validated duration or budget.
  • Ensure effective communication between pre-project teams and execution teams to anticipate workflow requirements.
  • Oversee logistics and flag potential blockages to project management.
  • Gather lessons learnt and provide feedback for continuous project improvement across business units.
  • Promote digitalization, innovation, cost culture, and LEAN practices throughout all phases of the project.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Professional experience of at least 10 years in project management and offshore topsides activities, covering construction, maintenance, controls, and planning.
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Offshore certification required.
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational ability, autonomy, motivation, and a strong team spirit.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; Portuguese is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with planning tools such as Primavera is an advantage.
